British Museum Youth Collective
I was selected to be part of the British Museum's Youth Collective in 2023. Throughout the year, we, as young museum practitioners, have developed and delivered three public outputs that gathered up to 4,000 visitors per event and engaged young audiences with the British Museum's collections.
Our first event All you need is love aimed to show some of the different forms love takes in objects around the Museum. Alongside organising the event activities, I delivered the tour called 'what's love got to do with it?' The Mid-Autumn Festival, held in connection with the China's Hidden Century blockbuster exhibition, was one of the Museum's largest and most successful events. Our final event, Carve out your career, aimed to empower young people starting their career journey.
